Beth of Fresh Air — Episode 45

Originate with Micah Ellars

Live Friday, October 2nd at 1:00 PM CDT on YouTube and Rumble

No matter where you're at there was an origin, where seeds were planted, successful and failed experiments were made. Exploring how things have grown and developed gives the explorer a sense of place, coherence, and greater self awareness.

In this episode of Beth of Fresh Air, I'm sitting down with Micah Ellars to hear more of his origin story and explore how his years in filmmaking, acting, directing, and acting coaching eventually led him to use those same tools with people who have no particular desire to become actors at all.

Instead of 'name and fame', they want to remember themselves.

We'll talk about Micah's journey through film and acting, including his recent work as an actor in a film, and how his understanding of the craft has evolved through his years in "the Work" of self-remembering.

In the interview we'll exploring these questions:

  • What is the difference between mechanical acting and conscious acting?
  • Why can someone who doesn't care about becoming a "good actor" sometimes become a better one?
  • Why is repetition the mother of skill?
  • And what happens to a human being when extreme self-consciousness takes over?

We'll get into the King archetype and the nature of real agency, including an announcement about a new event we're creating around the King.

And then we'll take you behind the scenes of one of the most interesting experiments Micah and I have been doing together.

Self Remembering With Archetypes

Earlier this year, we ran the first-ever Self Remembering With Archetypes workshop series, combining archetypal work, self-remembering, acting mechanics, scene work, and deprogramming.

It showed us something extraordinary.

Acting mechanics make the False Personalities more easy to see.

The archetypes reveal the architecture that False Personalities organize themselves within, while scene work allows us to actually embody that architecture and experience it firsthand.

We'll discuss how once you put these personalities on the stage, you begin to see the comedy, the drama, and sometimes the absolute horror of the situation. LOL.

False Personalities shape themselves around the archetypes, and learning to perceive that structure can reveal what has been imprisoning you your whole life.

That's why Micah and I are so excited about this work—and why we're doing another Self Remembering With Archetypes course beginning in October.

This BoFA episode is an opportunity to understand the problem you may never have known was there, and to experience why we're using acting, scene work, archetypes, and self-remembering to make it visible.

We'll also be announcing something new around the Child and Rebel archetype loop, so, if you haven't already, make sure you take the King Hero Archetype Quiz before you join us.

There's a lot to explore.

Let's Originate.

If we're just meeting...

I’m Beth Martens—founder of the House of Free Will, pattern hunter, archetype reader, podcaster, author, coach trainer, and June 2019-96 business coach. My calling has truly been a life-or-death matter. After a decade as a corporate VP in my family’s firm, eight transformative trips to India, and a three-year battle with cancer nearly 25 years ago, I turned to archetypes and deep deprogramming work to save my life.

Despite doing everything wrong based on limited health knowledge, I accessed the hidden inner roots of what was keeping me sick, stuck, and unconscious. Letting those patterns go changed everything. I went from dying to living almost overnight.

Today, I help people who love truth more than their beliefs—people who want to serve with their life’s work and walk their Hero’s Journey—to deprogram the beast system from within and stop unconsciously feeding the forces that harm us.

I host the King Hero interview series, where I spotlight leaders, entrepreneurs, movement makers, and lovers of freedom who are carving new paths in a world that desperately needs them. And I also share my own voice, insights, and stories through my new solo podcast, Beth of Fresh Air.
