I do not want to come across as fatalistic. And I do not what to come across as tipping through the tulips either.
We all seem to want the ‘world’ to be right, good, correct, in a word at peace.
Dr. Graves mentioned that if we were to all do as Job did and understand enough to know to be ashamed of ourselves that then we could have peace on earth.
I wonder what Dr. Graves would say about 1 Thessalonians 5, and the day of the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 KJV
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
“The mystery” is the Olive Tree. Satan deceived the early “Church” into adopting a Greek or Hellenistic form of “Christianity,” instead of being adopted into the Hebraic roots of the true faith as taught by Yeshua (Jesus) Himself to the first Messianic believers. (Romans 11 tells us why we are saved...). The majority of Jewish people have fallen temporarily from God’s grace, and the Gospel of salvation has come to the Gentiles in order to provoke the Jews to jealousy. (Romans 11:11). God’s plan was always for Gentiles to bring the Jewish people to a knowledge of their true Messiah (Yeshua, “the King of the Jews”). Israel is the natural “Olive Tree” (Romans 11:17), Gentiles are “grafted in “ to the Olive tree (the intimacy God intended Gentile believers to have with the Jewish people). Romans 11:25 ...”ignorant of this mystery...blindness happened to Israel until fullness of Gentiles has come in”. Yeshua came to take down the middle wall of partition b/t Jew and Gentile. Acts 20:29 beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing...(false doctrine which entered the Church in early 2nd century - “Replacement Theology”, which God is revealing in these last days...
